4th Gen Do people still...

I had to breed a shiny lucario and it took 8 hours but it was fun in the end.
 
I've always only played for fun, I could care less whether i'm good at wi-fi battles or anything else, i train because it makes me happy and its addicting.

You must mean training as in leveling up. Also what can be addicting is getting into contests.

I dont lose pokemon contests very often because its my passion. My main pokemon are My shiny roselia and Milotic.

Chaining. It was actually a Budew from route 404 or whatever the route that ends in 04 is. Ive got a lot of shines actually.
 
I don't care... I only participate Super Contest... Now I finished my Pokedex, the only thing to do is keep earning ribbons and EV training.
 
As i think EV training is a tough and tiring thing to do, it is also quite rewarding. The enjoyment of doing it, the experience you get when doing it and, of course how great you feel after working so hard and getting a goal done xD

I love EV training, it makes me a better battler, but i always make sure i have fun while EV training xD
 
i say who cares about ev training i mean if u waste days of your life ev training when in a few years you wont even like pokemon you will thank i cant believe i wasted my life doing that i could have been outside not doing that i mean instead of ev traing that pokemon thats name was i forgot its name i cold have been playing outside thats my opinion

LOL! (Even less than Magikarp and Sunkern? {considering you battle with them but don't fully evolve them}) Yeah, I've barely used it either. Hopefully that thing can get a good evo in future Gens...and it better not be something ugly/useless like Luvlove or Discdisk (like with Lickilicky's name)
 
I can't find any reason for playing my game for fun anymore, except training my Eeveelution team. I just have lost interest, and are just waiting for PLT.
 
i haven't played anymore since most of my rivals left the forum i stop playing their is no purpose.
 
I don't like competitive battling very much, mostly because I would always lose... ^^; I certainly just play for the fun of it, just for something to do, really. :3 And because I love catching all the kyute wickle Pokemon! <3 I just try to get past the Elite Four. I don't try to train my Pokemon to any certain level, or hardly even to fill my Pokedex anymore.
 
I used to play this game for fun for a very long time...

But like they say ignorance is bliss...I would agree that I had more fun when I just enjoyed the game and didn't care about 'the right build'....

Now I find it pretty difficult to just play the game without thinking about what's the 'right pokemon' to fight to level up...
