Do you develop games?

I went to school for game programming and they started us in Python/Pygame, then moved us over to Unity3D and C#. Some people started with Unreal and C++ but they never formally taught it.

As far as games go, I develop any genre so long as the game has an interesting mechanic or some other impressive coding behind the scenes. Procedural generation and genetic programming are two things I like to put in a lot of games :)

Any game developers here? What type of games do you develop? I first started with Flash and now I want to progress into HTML5.

I recently started developing games and have decided that game development is awesome and I'm planning that to be my main career, I started about 5 months ago and the very first game I made from 100% scratch was a remake of Combat for the Atari 2600, I made the graphics n' everything, then I started making Pokemon Inquiry (info in my signature as of Aug 23, 2016). I really enjoy game development and the best part is when you finish developing the game and when you finished you can play through it and at the end go "Hey, I made this" or at least helped make it, then showing to people and having them like the game you made. Game development 10/10 would develop again.

I used to make games with RPG Maker 2000, then I got into java scripting and made silly little games with that, Now I actually part of a game dev studio making games for a living with Unity and C++. But I make my Pokemon Game as a hobbie.

Well I used to. And I'm probably wanting to do so in the far future, once I work on my concepts good.

I'm content for now to specialise as a freelance artist. Game dev, judging by all the independent devs I've worked with, is just too crazily full of hurdles and difficulties, not to mention the sheer amounts of work you need to put in, for me to go there now. Nope.
I retreat for now to gather my forces.

I'm an artist(painter) IRL who studies physics often! XD

Honestly, I have tons of stories written and maps designed, just none of them programmed! Programming my first one now, finally. My programming background is Coursera on codeacademy! I was too busy taking science and art classes to sit my butt down in a coding class, but I'm managing. The coding requirements aren't overwhelming with RPGMaker XP however, programs like Unity are bit over my head right now (as would make sense). I want to get a few betas out before I can convert.

I don't really develop games - I just sit in front of RPG Maker and press buttons and type words and hope it all comes out coherent.

I do develop a game :) . I started developing a game for the first time back when I was in high school, using RPG Maker 2000, with my own assets (graphics, sounds, MIDI tunes, even fonts I drew myself) but I never finished it because it was too big of a project, I couldn't keep myself from remaking the first quarter of the game over and over, and the tool was ultimately ill-suited.

And now, I've been working on a platform/adventure game for two years using GameMaker Studio, again with my own graphics and (hopefully, because I haven't started that yet) my own music and sounds. Right now, I'm getting all the content done before polishing it and working on everything music and sound-related. I've learned from my mistakes with the first project ^^.

I'm making Pokemon Game called "Pokemon Origin Black" But I can't get the Z-Move mechanic working

I've used more advanced programs before, but I've been developing a game in Rpg Maker Vx Ace (Switched to MV) for almost 3 years now.
I'm hoping to get it on Steam when it's finished, but I haven't been getting many comments on the game.
