Do you ever regret not spending time with someone?

Both of my grandmothers died within a short period of time and it was only shortly beforehand that I was learning things from them that I never knew, like what they did when they were younger, the places they lived, and I wish I could have heard more from them. I should have tried to spend more time with them.
