Do you ever wonder how they know what pokemon in each pokeball?

They probably have memorized them.
Yes, that is how they do it as there is no indicator on a Pok? Ball on what Pok?mon is in it. Course Pok? Balls themselves could indicate what Pok?mon they have in them, an example being if you have only 1 Lurer Ball therefore you know what Pok?mon is in it.

Also in the Anime Ash I believe once accidentally grabbed the wrong Pok? Ball in a match and the cost was great proving you have to remember what order your Pok?mon are in.

Though it be cool if there was a way of indicating it or maybe one Pok? Ball that holds six Pok?mon in it and you just have to say the Pok?mon by name and they come out.

I always thought that the pokeballs were see-through.XD

As in,you could see through their red-colored tops to check which Pokemon is in which ball. Cause, Feebas, I'd be too lazy to actually go and memorize which Pokemon was in which pokeball.X3

Having one pokeball with six Pokemon sounds like it'd overcrowd the ball.XD
Course, its a good idea either way, just need to make sure that the Pokemon won't, like, start fighting and stuffers.^^

Well, you don't have to remember which is which you just have to remember the order so say Pikachu be the first in the row and so on.

Though in the Anime the Pok? Ball's are often kept in backpacks so that wouldn't work though I always find it funny in the Anime you can have a ton of Pok?mon on you but in the game you can only have six so if that is all you could have in the Anime then it be easy to know which you have with you.

Course me personally I mark them as well as memorize the order.

As for my thoughts on there just being 1 Pok? Ball, well it be like six in one so it just be a Pok? Ball with 6X the space making it comfy for all 6 Pok?mon.

Though if you think about it one Pok? Ball can contain a huge Pok?mon like Snorlax therefore ton's of smaller Pok?mon would fit in one Pok? Ball if Snorlax can have enough space in one Pok? Ball.

I dunno how they can remember as all the pokeball are the same. And in that episode where Ash met Richie, they didn't know what pokemon was there's did they? Only richie knew as he had a sticker on them. So if Ash didn't know there how can he know nornally? The only way he got his pokemon was pikachu smelling them.

I assume smarter trainers remember which Ball has which, while novice trainers stick labels on their PokeBalls XD

No, I think that the Poke Gears/Navi's which the trainer has recieves minute radio signals of different frequencies from the PokeBalls, and the signal tells the trainer what Pokemon is in which PokeBall.

Well, I think there was one anime episode when Ash sent out the wrong Pokemon but I may be wrong. I think he accidently sent out a sleeping Snorlax.

YEP!!! I think it was Richie who had little stars on his pokeballs and memoriesd them. Ash on the otherhand just knew, Misty ended up always throwing psyducks?

There were two episodes I believe he did it, one was when he sent out his sleeping Snorlax inturn losing the match as Snorlax was asleep and another time he went against a Gym Leader and accidentally sent out Charizard before he and him got along and he refused to fight causing him to lose.

Well, she doesn't end up doing it as he just has a tendency to come out randomly. It be interesting if that was a feature in the Pok?mon games when one of your Pok?mon would come out randomly while battling.

I'm pretty sure the balls are transparent in the manga. I always thought that made more sense.

The trainers have little belts that they keep their pokeballs in, don't they? Maybe they memorise the order that the balls are in or something. In the situations mentioned, the trainer just happened to grab the wrong one. I dunno.

I would just write the pokemon's name on the pokeball with a sharpie (lol). I wouldn't have time to memorize them, and what about the ones that get stored in the pc?

I wonder if the ball weighs more if their is a Snorlax inside or does it weigh less if theirs a weedle inside?

Considering that Pokemon get turned into pure energy when contained within PokeBalls, I doubt that trying to see through Balls or estimating their weight would prove effective.

I'm pretty sure in real life, everyone would label their PokeBalls (with their names too, if they ever get lost). But that would be too tedious/unneccesary to show in the game/anime so they're just nice clean PokeBalls.
