I forgot all the japanese I knew so I'm taking lessons from the beginning again.

If you keep using the words, then you won't forget. ^^;; (Btw, PM me if you don't know how to pronounce any of these words.)

Whatever limited knowledge I have of the Japanese language comes from studying Zelda. For instance yesterday I learned that MIRUKU is Milk (What does that have to do with Zelda? RONRON MIRUKU = Lon Lon Milk). So yeah, I know barely anything.

Umm...I know a good amount of Kanji....very Little Katakana....thats what you get from 7 years of living in japan....XD

Sawii! Thats just a word i made up...take a few charaecters from a few words and you get Sawii...Sawii-Non living riddle boy

I've been studying Japanese in High School for 2 years now so I know some Japanese.

If anyone wants to translate a sentence or something into Japanese, I'm open for assistance... d=

I think this is a very cool idea for a thread... I'm just starting to learn Japanese, got some language tapes, which are pretty good (better for conversational Japanese than anything else, but it's pretty good)

You learn auditorially? Because I hate learning through tapes, lol.

I like learning the grammar and stuff. ^_^; I'm kinda bad at actually speaking on improv... since I talk slow not knowing what to say. But I'm really good at writing and reading it. =o I can spend hours just reading and translating some of my manga in Japanese. <3

Er... mwar~ I'm taking Japanese all through high school on Saturdays~ ^_^ I finished my first year, well, this year, and I plan to take it next year and the year after. (I'd take it after that but it only goes up to level 4, I think ;_;')

._. I've gotta memorize kanji over the summer. I've got the other alphabets down, but kanji is... annoying me. <_<

I'm really cheap and trying to learn it on my own via internet. I found a dictionary site, now I'm searching for places to explain the grammar to me. I think that's all I need, because I don't have too much of a reason to want to become fluent in it. I think just a basic understanding of it is all I need. I hope?

Before I found actual classes, I was teaching myself through the "Learn Japanese" books and tapes they have at the public libraries. Anyone who wants to learn a language should definitely look there. *nods*

*needs to look for a Latin one sometime over the summer, too* XP

Oooh I know some! Puranto=plant. Yeah, I bet you didn't know that one lol!

The library? Aw, I'm going to have to leave my house for that. LOL

I should probably check those out. I don't think I'm ever going to have to speak it, so I don't have to worry about that. Just grammar stuff I have to find.
