I've seen a couple of episodes, and I wasn't impressed. They draw the fight scenes out way to long, and have a surplus of fillers that do not add the story line in the slightest imo. Overall, I think it's okay, but not something I'd watch again.

The fight scenes are long so everyone's able to see what is the conclusion from the fighting. I hate the fillers, but they show you to know where they are now.

Personally, I like it. I mean who wouldn't wanna have a Byakugan or Sharingan?

The fights are more drawn out than in the manga. That's always been a major issue when changing Shounen fighting manga to the animation medium. Take Dragonball/Z for example, an average fight scene would take three to four chapters. Three to four chapters is about one episode of anime, now we all know that the series almost never had fights that short. Which proves the point that Naruto's fights, at least in the anime, aren't done at the intended length. It's all done to milk the anime franchise as long as possible, hence the nearly three years of fillers.

Well my friend has started downloading Naruto ep some time ago and I have watched 6 ep up to now XDDDDD. Well I see you all have detailed answers and have been watching the show for quite some time so my opinion right now can't really compare with yours XD but I will still say that I love the anime. Up to now there hasn't been any long, dull fighting scene at least that's how I think. So I think this is a great anime, with loads of action and adventure^^.

As far as Naruto is concerned, whoever wrote that he can get annoying with his constant goofy statements and his yealing.. was right. Don't get me wrong I like Naruto, because he can be funny, he's adventourous, easy-going and brave.. but sometimes he can just overreact. Please sometimes I wish I could go to Naruto and just tell him to SHUT UP. (And it's been only 6 ep.. gee I hope Naruto doesn't get worse)

Oh and I don't like Sakura's attitude towards Sasuke.. Sure he's hot and cool and that.. but he's definetly not all that! No guy can be all that.. I mean sometimes I think that she's going to faint just simply standing next to Sasuke.. But hey at least she represents many Sasuke fans over the world, and as doing so, I think she's preety good XD

Oh and last but not least. Sasuke is hot, Sasuke is cool, he is a skilled ninja.. but he can also be a real GIT! Gee sometimes it seems that he thinks that like a god or sth.. and the way he can be *****y to Naruto.. that can really make me angry.

Anyhow.. like I said Naruto is still and probably will be (at least for a long time) a great anime ;)

BTW. This is going to sound stupid.. but I really don't know. What do the words ˝IMO˝ and ˝fillers˝mean?
 
i loved naruto in the beginning (anime) and then it became worse cuz the anime didnt follow the manga.............

so it's ok

IMO = Short term for 'in my opinion'.

Fillers are what often occur in anime that contain a running manga, so that it keeps the anime from catching up to the on-going manga. Naruto will have its fillers ending in February, meaning the manga has gone far enough from the anime. Fillers do not affect the story arc of any anime.
 
I've liked Naruto for close to 4 years now and everything but the fillers is awesome. The manga is amazing as well and I'm really excited to see the start of part 2 in the anime.

I read the manga once, watched three episodes ... hated it. It's terrible, crap. I really don't see why it's so popular.
 
I think Naruto is a great anime. I especialy love the fighting in ninja style:cool: Though I watched only a couple episodes I heared from a friend that the show gets a bit boring when you have already watched more than 100 episodes because episodes become to similar or something... But anyway, I think I'll get tired of the show before that comes-it was never in my plan to watch all 216 episodes or how many there is suppose to be now.
And about the characters-I like Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura, though the last one a bit less cuz she's to much in Sasuke all the time. Naruto is too laud for me somethimes and I don't like when Sasuke calls Naruto an idiot and stuff like that. But nevertheless I like both of them.
But when it comes to my fav, Kakashi is my man!:D I like his style so much!:D
 
Naruto has to be one of my favorite shows.Gaara and Kisame are my favorite characters.The new series is coming out soon!

That broke my heart.

Honestly, I don't know about you, but I never expect an anime to sound fantastic when just watching three episodes or so. Even if I turn out not enjoying the beginning, I don't bother judging it in any way, since I haven't given that show enough chance. Usually when I continue viewing something for a longer period of time, I end up loving it. Did you watch the very starter episodes, or randomly picked three out of the whole current series?
 
I love Naruto that show rocks and it rules who ever says otherwise is stupid, but Pokemon is better though IMO and you can't change my Opinion
