Do you Like To TLDR?

No, but it would be fun to write walls and walls of text. Although I can't, I always end up explaining something before I realize it. If I do ever write something is TLDR it will probably keep repeating itself.

I rarely make tl;dr posts because I think walls of text look intimidating to newbies and I am fully aware the by posting a wall of text, my post will most likely be ignored by the very same newbies that direct my post towards. Who makes walls of text anyways? It's like imagining that PC is a RL social gathering, the people that make walls of text are like the snobs that make long and boring rants that will sooner make you fall asleep than listen intently. In order to add an element of excitement and intrigue to your posts, you have to have a line break at some point or another so that your readers can stop and think for a second about what they just read and take the content of your post in short manageable sips instead of one huge swallow that is likely to have them choke to death on words...metaphorically speaking, of course. Is this paragraph long enough for the irony of this post to set in yet? I dunno, how about I just submit it and find out. XD

I totally just want to post here and only say "No". :3

..but that'd also be a lie.

i only write a lot if i have a lot to say ... usually.

On occasion I do have a tl;dr post, and that's just my style. I tend to go on and on, letting my line of logic sort of establish the context and content of a post. Generally I just open with my answer and elaborate. I do try to line break from time to time to allow digesting of various parts.

That being said, I don't totally dislike tl;dr posts. To me, a tl;dr post is so much more than just a huge wall of text, it's generally a very 'OMG I'M A DRAMA QUEEN' sort of reply as well. Quite frankly, a post that is overreactionary in nature as well as being excessively long for the topic at hand. While I do try to be as concise as possible in my posts, in order to fully establish things, a little wordiness is quite necessary, in the name of avoiding any foreseeable misunderstanding.

I tend to tr;dr myself, so it's not like I dislike it. However, when people tr;dr me: unless it's very important or it's of my interest, I usually just don't read it, or I skim through it. This usually happens when you're ranting to me and being a total drama queen about it, and I don't give a crap.

It all depends on the topic of the tr;dr really.

Depends on the section/thread/etc.

For Roleplays, I, of course, HAVE to put in long posts if I can ever expect to get accepted/stay in them >.>

Other than that, my posts generally stay as short messages :3

I don't particularly like to tl;dr because most of the time I just end up repeating myself over and over. But sometimes when it's needed and gets a good response, I do enjoy it - it feels like it's worth the effort. :>

I keep it short and simple, usualy. The only times I right long stuf is when I'm hosting something, like PC's Prettiest Profile Contest. Or when I'm talking to someone exceptionaly stupid. O_O

Lolz, JK

lolno

If it's over about two lines it's long for me ;D

Only when I actually care about what the topic is. Otherwise I very rarely tl;dr.

Normally: I don't think so. My posts are usually a few lines or a medium-sized paragraph. There are certain subjects I can be long-winded on, but most of the time I keep it short and sweet. ^^

I always emphasise on quality, not quantity. So whether it's a long post or a short one, the point can be seen quickly, with the point put forward.
