I care about EVs and Natures, but rarely do I bother with IVs. Although I am currently trying to breed a Sunkern (the pokemon with the lowest base stats) with IVs of 0 in every stat.

And sometimes, for a challenge, I'll clone my team and remove all EVs, and then battle.

Natures, EVs, and IVs are just as important as movesets (if not more in some cases) when it comes to winning battles on Wi-Fi. So yes, I do care about them, making sure to EV train any Pokemon with a good nature and decent IVs I catch. It shouldn't matter much if you're doing in-game, 'cept for natures. You don't want a nature that lowers your Pokemon's primary stat, or else it's not gonna do as good a job as you might think.

Um, well, the only reason I use my time playing pokemon is because of EVs and IVs. In all honesty, I would have lost interest in the games had I not discovered competitive battling. So, yeah. I care. A lot.

only n00bs don't care about EVs, IVs, and especially natures.

Quoted for the truth.

I care about Natures, IVs, and EVs quite alot. They're important to keep track of so you don;t suck at battling.

My opinion has changed radically since completing the game & catching/trading my dream team. I'm interested in EVs mostly now, but I can see me rebreeding my whole team for decent natures & proper EV training.
This coming from someone who was like 'URGH, competitive battling SUCKS!' a few weeks ago.

I care about nature/EVs/IVs because it's really important(Example: Weavile hardy, 0 IVs/EVs=Atk:100 against Weavile adamant 31 IVs/252 EVs=Atk:203) and at the example you see how important all this is.
Breeding and training is very time-consuming, but it's profitable, the 2.Weavile would win because:
1 IV=1 Point
4 EVs=1 Point
right nature:+10%

So you see the diffrent^^
So I care about this all

I don't worry about them, since I don't compete in the hardcore circuit. I only battle with my close friends, and none of us EV train. It's fair.

Well, when I was a begginer, I only care teaching pokemon the strongest move available. But today, I count on the Natures, Stats and EV ,IV or whatever you call it on battling...

I care about them so little that every time someone explains the stuff to me, I forget them the next moment.

I like my natures to be cool, though. Would hate to have an insane pokémon in my party.

im sure you feel different when somebody would kick your ass in a battle, like your brother or something, you'd be EV- and IV-training non-stop after that.

I have cared ever since I first found out what pokemon natures do.
I have 3 boxes filled with Gligar and still don't have one with the Jolly nature and Sand Veil.

Essential, essential.

That's why I'm making a new team.

Really...
I managed to beat some EV/IV Trainer in the Battle Tower..
..It was tough though.
He was no match for my Infernape And Giratina..=3
I mean, he was.
.....he was a match.
.............I wasn't bragging or anything.

Ivs, evs, natures
Couldnt live without them

Really don't have a need for this type of thread. IVs and EVs don't matter in-game but they matter if you plan on battling competitively.
