Do you -really- ned 3 global announcements?

Can you get rid of 1 or 2 of them? It's getting annoying scrolling past them constantly.

It really is annoying. The pages could be shortened and include more without them. like there used to be those plus 8 stickies in the fan fic pokemon forum! that was so annoying

And it's confusing, too. Why not just post them in the Announcements forum?

I've sadly had to adapt... I can't remove any of the stickies or announcements... I know they're there for a reason, but most of them, you mutter to yourself, "I think we got the point already!"

Yeah I guess xD I mostly post from the 'new posts' link, so I don't actually go into any forums or anything, I just get the topic directly from there ^_~

Each only takes up about a centimetre, and they're really relevant, so its worth keeping them for now ^^
The reason for them is that a lot of people havent got the point, DP.
An extra centimetre of scrolling isnt really an issue since they are important ^^;

The Report one was cross-posted to the Announcements forum, so that one can go.

The one about Abby leaving wasn't really needed in the first place - had she wanted it there, she could've made it herself before leaving. :/

The only one I really see that should stay is Dakota's new thing about rep.

The Abby one saves a lot of questions
The otheres are all relevant for now, and as soon as ppl have gotten the idea and dont go against whats written in the announcements, then they can be removed
Relax -it's only scrolling, and like i said, once ppl do continually listen, they'll be removed

Err.. How long are these Global Announcements gonna be here - Maximum one more month,it's no big deal and as Claire said will avoid a lotta threads and questions which if not a centimetre will take more space up!

Yeah!!!J/K You just proved my point arguing for mine.Point 1!XD!As I said there was only "one" thread cause of the announcements. Otherwise would have been many that too each in diff Forums - OC,Q/F,etc.!

You think 3 in webbies is more.XD!Hacking has 5 and so do some others.Though if the praetor(s) and sups feel 3 is too much the that should be removed is - Report That post One!

The report one is irrelevant now anyway. -_- How many other mods actually check their e-mail everyday for reported posts? o_o; I say that one can go. It does get really annoying trying to browse a forum when there are 5 announcements hanging there. =\

I think they're all there so that some of us that are too lazy to go to the announcement forum, can see them anywhere XD

Well we can edit the report one, now that we've got the hack back. Make a bigger push for it. The one about me is obviously unneeded, and I'm still not sure what, if anything we're doing about rep.
