Do you think there are too many legendary pokemon?

hi im a newb. Whats new? i just want to fit into this big pokemon universe.

OMFG YES!!!! In particular, there are too many needless legendaries. And they are:

-Regirock
-Regice
-Registeel
-Manaphy
-Phione
-Heatran

Some that should be given pseudo-legend status are:

-Latias
-Latios

Having watched Pokemon Heroes, Latios/Latias didn't seem to be like other legendaries and over-powerful. They were shown to have seperate genders, could breed and catching any of them probably wouldn't affect the balance of nature and they can also die. What is a psuedo-legendary anyway and how are they different from the main legendaries?
