Do you use online terms IRL

I avoid using online terms when I actually am online so there's no way I'd use them in real life. It drives me crazy when I hear people using online terms in real life. My roommates friend used to say 'lol' instead of laughing when something was funny and I just wanted to hit him.

I say "pwn" and all the variants of that all the time XD

Only one, and usually aimed at stupid road users;

EPIC FAIL.

Drives my family nuts, but there. Always makes my friends smile, when I lean out of my car window and shout, 'EPIC FAIL'!

I usually only use online terms around other people who are addicted to the internet, otherwise I'm just talking gibberish. Though I do use things like "you're doing it wrong" and "no u" a lot. Never said lol- And proud of it.

I should go into a crowded place and spout memes. It would either make people angry, or utterly confused. |3

I think about saying it in my head, like, "lolwhut" or "looool" but I never say it outloud. XD

Yeah, same here. It's quite strange actually. If I'm thinking over a conversation I've had earlier in the day (yes, I do this sometimes D:) then I might be like 'LOL' (in my head of course) if I think of something funny.

I then start to hope that I don't actually talk like this without knowing.

... if that post made any sense. o_o'

I've said "lol" a few times (purposely XD) and "pwn" but I don't use it on a regular basis, just to be funny, really.

As of late, things like "lol", "rofl", and even "lmao" slip out every so often. Luckily, a lot of other kids take it as a joke and join in, so everything's fine :D

I remember when someone tagged a house and wrote "LOL" in big letters and I said "lol, look at that!" And everyone was like... o_0;

I sometimes say lol or lolwut when I'm, y'know, lolwutting. Oh, i used to say rofl and sometimes say "ex-dee". And my friend's always going, "loololoooololloloooloololoooololololoooolloollolol" and another one says "Rofalmaaaaaoooo". So, it's not awfully weird for me to say that. Or maybe it's just I pick weird friends. This other guy always squeezes his face muscles and says "ex deeeee" or "lol!". And we all say "FAIL!" or "EPIC FAIL" a lot. And we like to use memes. :P

I rarely even use most internet terms when I'm talking online, so I don't exactly go blurting them out at any given time.

On the rare occasion I do say something like "Oh-Em-Gee" or "Lol" it's when I'm messing around with my friends, or making fun of someone who uses internet slang in their everyday speech. =P

I try not to use internet lingo in IRL. but sometimes, when the situation is appropriate, i go with EPIC FAIL. n.n

Haha, I don't have any idea how you'd go about pronouncing 'lmao'. "La-May-Oh?" It sounds so odd. XD

But yeah, rofl and lol are common between my friends (or at least occasionally I'll say rofl as a joke-laugh, but lol has quickly become a "haha" replacement, and if something is friendly-degrading or a mega-BURN it's "lolololol".) <---that can be annoying in not-so-funny situations.

Otherwise, gtfo once in a while, but other than that I try not to use online terms. And the lol's from me specifically are few and far between, because when I say it it sounds eh. >.>

I don't know about you, but most of the time I don't pronounce 'lmao.' I just say L-M-A-O while I pronounce lol like... lol. I pronounce some words, but say others letter by letter. Take rofl for example... I'll pronounce it 'Rof-el.'
