    Pokemon (19):
    4 Durant
    4 Magmar (Triumphant)
    3 Magmortar (Triumphant)
    2-1-2 Emboar (Inferno Fandango)
    1 Victini (Victory Star)
    1-1 Ursaring Prime

    Trainers/supporters (22):
    3 Eviolite
    2 Energy Retrieval
    2 Switch
    2 Reviv
    1 Rare Candy
    1 Catcher
    2 Prof Elm's
    2 Prof Oak's
    2 Interviewer's ?
    2 Judge
    2 Rocket's Trickery
    1 PKMN Collector

    Energy (19):
    12 Fire
    1 Basic Metal
    4 Special Metal
    1 Double Colorless
    1 Rainbow

As you can probably tell by the title, the point of this deck is to deck your opponent out. By you having 4 Durant in play, for 1 metal energy, you can have your opponent discard 4 cards. That puts them from 47 to 42 cards left in their deck by their next turn. That might not seem like much, but once your opponent plays their Cherins, Biancas, Junipers, etc. they will go through their deck pretty quickly. Not only that, but you have Magmar, which have both you and your opponent discard the top card from your decks, and 20x the number of energies discarded that way. Oh, it gets better! Once you evolve to Magmortar, you can use "Top Burner" to discard the top card(s) from your opponent's deck equal to the amount of Fire energy attached to Magmortar, which is where Emboar's "Inferno Fandango" ability comes into play, to put as much energy as you can get in your hand onto Magmortar. There's a downside to the attack, you have to flip and if you get tails, you lose all your energies. Good thing Victini's "Victory Star" will give you a second chance to get your heads, if you get tails. Ursaring is there to use "Hammer Arm" and do 90, because Rainbow and Double Colorless says so, to help defend. Using Eviolites and Special Metals will help keep the Durants in the game as much as possible.

Problems are, the deck takes awhile to deck someone out, and with all these quick-building, hard-hitting decks now, that just won't cut it. Not only that but, I have yet to get Emboar out for his Ability. Any advice?

There's far too many suggestions I could make for this deck, but the most important one I'm going to make is that if you're running a non-aggressive strategy where you don't intend to win by prizes, you need to set up your support structure accordingly. You NEED cards like N and Twins in your deck, mainly because you will always be down in prizes with the way you're set up and with N you can skim down your opponent's hand size while keeping yours at a solid 6.

Durant is only good when you have 4 in play, so I suggest bulking up on your Collectors to increase the chance of 1st turn disruption. Its strategy still won't last long since it has a fire weakness and low enough HP for most attackers except Yanmega Prime to 1-hit. With a Special Metal and Eviolite, Durants can only handle a max of 90 damage, which a Reshiplhosion deck will be more than ready to dish out.

Magmortar also isn't terrific. It's very easily KO'd, which makes the loss of Energy on the coin flip less relevant than how you're going to get them back.

I would also say pitch the Ursaring, because it's an awkward attack tech that won't accomplish enough, considering that it doesn't have the strength to effectively knock out most pokemon, and is very easily KO'd itself.

This is a really good strategy. However, since you're going to be down on prizes, you might want to add a few twins in there. An N might not work, because of Yanmega decks. (Judge, Copycat, PONT) Maybe add a few Reshiram to speed things up?

I am was thinking of putting some twins and Ns in it. Most likely gonna take out the Ursaring, Teddiursa, Double Colorless, and Rainbow for them. I've noticed that, with most decks people play, they nearly deck-out by themselves. Which is why I made the deck.

To Tanaki: What do you suggest I would switch the Magmortar with?

There isn't really a whole lot that you can actually substitute for Magmortar. Not a lot of cards have the ability to deck your opponent out. Kyogre Groudon Legend is amazing at doing that, but it's a difficult setup, and with all the Yanmega and Zekrom running around it's more of a free 2-prize grab for your opponent, unless your timing in playing it is perfect.

I would say Magmortar is fine, but you basically need to run something like Shuckle and Ninetales, stuff like energy returner, energy retrieval, fisherman, super rod and flower shop lady, maybe a super scoop up/seeker/unown(return), shaymin if you have to. My suggestion is that you essentially build up an emboar as soon as possible, draw into a wealth of cards with shuckle, find a way to pick them up/move them to Magmortar, and burn through your opponent's deck. Rinse and repeat.

OR you could try using Conkeldurr. He's pretty bulky, and hard to take out, and you get a very awkward coin flip chance to discard some energies.

Hey! I've got a really easier way!!

    3 Reshiram
    2 Collector
    55 Fire Energy

Strategy: Get your opponent to deck out with all your mulligans.

The problem with that is your opponent is not entitled to draw an extra card each time you mulligan.

Drawing that extra card is optional.

This deck's success rate is moderate. It's not special, or too weak. Although i've only played about 8 people on Playtcg and won 5. Although, I have been thinkin about using Conkeldurr in the deck, but I'd rather have them discard X number of cards with a 50/50 chance, and a second chance if that fails, to lose all energies. I will try the energy retrieving cards and see what I can exchange for them to see what happens.

good point... i didn't think about that. I bet if it wasnt optional, people would be using that type of deck a lot. :3
