Does Anyone Actually Treat Their Pokémon "Badly?"

Well there was a time when I was like 10 and I fed my aoanix bitter stuff and kept getting it fainted.

It doesn't seem easy to keep a Pokemon unhappy, with a persistent and deliberate effort doing specific things being required. Since I came across the move Frustration I'd wondered how to make one unhappy; if it weren't so deliberating I'd probably do it with an Eevee, since I like the base version — can't have it being happy and evolving now can we?

Does torturing wild Pokemon by keeping them Wrapped/poisoned/confused/etc. for like eighty turns until they faint instead of just OHKOing them with a better attack count? :P

No "happiness" in R/B, I usually just toss Pika in a box as soon as possible in Yellow (little rat won't evolve, I'll just get a Jolteon), and in Silver so far I'm doing too poorly to bother with such trivialities as happiness. :P

And using Ditto for sex isn't treating him bad? xD

Treating him bad of giving him the best life possible? :D
I treat my pokémons well, only when there weren't happiness in the games (RBY) I treated them bad, accidentaly.

There's not a lot you can do to make them not like you actually, so mine are usually happy. :)

Does constantly letting the PP on all a certain pokemon's moves drain down to make it intentionally use struggle count? :P

I've tried, but its actually REALLY hard (for me anyway) to get a Pokemon to hate me. In the end I just feel bad and give up XD

No. I mean, haven't you been listening to the people in the games. Love makes them strong killing machines, that will do anything for you because you're so awesome to them

Sometimes I want to slap my Pokemon.

Nah, I don't do that. Sometimes it happens by accident, for example, when I face a really tough gym leader... >_>

I'd like to in Soul Siver, if only so my Pokemon would stop doing cute things when following me and actually act like bad-a**es, but I end up giving up on that since merely WALKING with them increases friendship. For me it's always easier to make them friendly and power up Return.

Since seeing the Rocket Executive in Stadium 2 use Frustration in battle, I've wanted a team of angry Frustration-using Pokemon, but it's so hard to max it out so I end up going the Return route...

lol no! The worst thing i do is keep them in the box for a long time, so probably yes. lol.

I don't. I love my pokemon and want them to be happy little virtual pixels. I evolved a Togepi with happiness at level 10, without intentionally trying to make it happy. Even my HM slaves love me. <3

I try to keep my pokemon as happy as possible. Idk why but treating them bad is just horrible to me. I can't even stand to see one of them faint. In SS when I was training my charmeleon it fainted and I turned the power off...well I thought I saved but it turned out that I didn't. I had to retrain my Marshtomp up five levels, not that bad I guess, and Charmeleon lost all the levels it had too. But hey it was worth it b/c having my pokes faint is like armageddonx10 :D.
