I know the chance of encountering a shiny in the wild is something like 1/8000 and I also know that the chance to encounter a shiny by using the PokeRadar uses a formula of its own. My question is, is this PokeRadar formula any different than the normal shiny chance?
Since the formula depends on the length of the chain, the chance of encountering a shiny seems to improve as the chain gets longer. So if the length of the chain is 1, is the percent chance to encounter a pokemon more, less, or equal to the normal chance? If it's a less chance, is there a point when the chance actually becomes *less* than the normal wild chance?
Hope that question made sense. Thanks.
