6th Gen Does Exclusive in safari change ?

Because I got a Spritzee on a Friend Safari that had a Swirlix. I'm using Y version.

I am using Pokemon X and have access to Spritzee through the Friend Safari, so exclusivity should not effect what Pokemon are available there.

Exactly. Friend Safari catches are determined by a friend code. So a Spritzee Safari in X and Y will be the same friend.

Well the one who had Swirlix listed under his Friend Safari had a bad info since he got a Spritzee. It's so hard to find a Swirlix safari somehow. I tried adding people with it on the reddit Friend Safari sub forum but none added me back.

Wait, does Swirlix show up under their name when you go to the Friend Safari in-game? Then something is definitely not right, you should have gotten Swirlix regardless of your version. If they simply advertised their safari as having Swirlix on the forum/reddit, then they obviously lied.

And now that you mention it, I have 50 people added on my 3DS and no Fairy safari, at all. Did you have any luck yet?

I know I've never used the Friend Safari feature (can't find out my friend code lol) but as Cyclone mentioned, even if a Pokemon is normally version-exclusive ingame is found in a Friend Safari (such as Swirlix/Spritzee), you can still find it regardless of your version because the safari's content is tied to the person itself.

I have 100 people. I have some ten Water Safaris, but only one Normal Safari and only two Flying Safaris. I'm ready to give Nintendo a failing grade for the Safari because they are forcing people to delete people they want to have as friends in favour of having access to every type of Safari. That ain't right.

Haha, I have a grand total of one Water safari, and the person didn't beat the E4 yet, so they only have two slots. I have at least one of each type, except for Fairy and Steel. I have lots of Ice though.

I think I have a couple of Ice.

But I should delete some people I haven't played with in a long time from the AC additions. They've kept me on their lists too, but clearly, they don't play Pokémon and I will be adding SSB opponents someday. I'll have to be sure to only delete the ones whose Pokémon findings (maybe they don't even play! LOL) are identical to those in other Safaris and I don't have the third unlocked.

Well I found the guy on the list here it was the only fairy with Swirlix, yet he has a Spritzee. Anyway I found 2 safari on Reddit with swirlix and kirlia.

It would've been great if your Friend Safari Pokémon were dependent on your player ID (which changes on every new save file), and not Friend Code. I've seen people make complain about it before for whatever reason, but this definitely would've helped avoid that.
