[Script] Does fire red EV_Cap limiter fix even work?

    So we know what the limiter for fire red is, and people say to change 40 to C0 and FD 01 to F9 05.

    that's great and all but has anyone ever actually tested that to see if it works how we think it does? Like with an ev checker and compare stats.
    I tried and its looking a bit odd right now.

    In one case my evs just looped around the normal 252 cap. and would reset to 0 if I would gain evs that would put me above 252.
    in another case I just didn't gain evs through any means but vitamins.

    And with the first method my stat would go up, and then right back down, when it reset.
    So does this thing even work?
