the pokemon you just dematerialized broke out of your pokeball? it annoys the carp out of meh! (yes, i really said carp XD)

It terribly annoys me a lot.

I was in search for a lucky egg. I was going to catch the Chanseys I encountered. I was getting so mad because I would get them to 1 hp with false swipe and paralyzed and they would break out of ultra ball after ultra ball. How does that happen?!? I would have to use 25 or more ultra balls per chansey, that is crazy. From now on I may try to put them to sleep.

I know exactly what you are talking about.

Annoys? It pisses me off when the vermin is at 1 hp and it wont go in the friggin ball!

False Swipe is almost pointless due to that

    ultra ball

That's nice that you've noticed, and I'm sure it seems annoying to you, but why do you think this is enough to warrant a discussion? D:

awhh man i hate it when that happens aswell.. but for twilight sky dude.. yeah its not a very good discussion haha but maybe a thread for the annoying things about pokemon..?? sounds like a good idea..

you know what annoys me..? when you spend loads of money on potions for indgo plateau coz you think your finaly powerful enough to actually beat them then you lose on the second one using up all of your potions and have earned less money then you've spent >_>

I prefer when it breaks out immediately, instead of wiggling for a second before breaking out - it gives me false hope, then dashes it!

I gotta agree with accela on this one. I wish it would just come out of the ball immediately instead of waiting. I think the Pokémon do that on purpose. . > 3 >

Really, though, if it does that I just give it a status ailment (sleep, paralysis, et cetera) and it usually helps. I just let them wail on my Raichu until Static kicks in. After all, they won't do too much damage to my Raichu since Raichu is usually about 20 or so levels more powerful.

Lol, I tried using 4 normal pokeballs on a chingling and they all failed and I got him to like 5 hp, but I used a togetic to do adding effects to him <3

I was in search for a lucky egg.

Use Covet to search for items instead of catching millions of Chanseys; it's a lot easier (and faster).

Anyway, I actually like it that Pokémon aren't caught 'just like that'. It makes it more challenging; would it be as fun playing a game where all Poké Balls are like Master Balls?

Or get a Banette w/ frisk.

You should expand this thread's horizons to talk about
anything annoying in D/P/Pt so you're not fixed on one subject..

I completely agree on that pokeball note. Break out or stay in ffs.
ESPECIALLY W/ LEGENDARIES! Ugh I hate all the people who make a video
of them catching Giratina or whatever with 3 or so pokeballs, just for
the hell of making a video. Gah!

We should make it continue like

"Does it annoy you when.." (insert whatever), the next poster answers,
and then say "Does it annoy you when..." and repeat.

    ANYWAY.

    Doesn't it annoy you when...
You see a Fisherman with 6 pokemon, and you hope that
at least one of them is Gyarados (since they're bound to be Magikarp),
but really, all they have is basically level 40-60 Magikarps? Evolve the
    dumb fish or release it!

    Pokie'balls

hmm isnt that why you have a varitey of pokeballs for that? -I myself use each type for each reason--first-- use a quick ball if that didnt work out then hurt it down a bit. Then use w/e you want if that didnt work out use a time ball =P

I still don't know what you mean by "red lighty-thingy," but yes, I do hate it. But, it's all apart of the random number generator decided by Nintendo. It really Grinds My Gears by a trillion, but it puts more of a more fun and exciting challenge into the game.

Nothing is certain in the real world, why should Pokemon be any different?
Pokemon isn't usually my main focus when I'm playing it, so I don't really care how many balls it takes to catch the little bugger so long as I have enough.

Well, since this covers all the pokemon games, I think ti fits better in General Pokémon Gaming.

In Diamond, I threw at least 25 Dusk/Ultra Balls until I fnally caught Giratina. I hate it when this happens--but you can't expect to catch every Pokemon without fail. It'd unbalance the game. =/

if you were looking for a lucky egg why didnt you just teach a pokemon theif?also i like when pokemon get outta of the pokeball it gives me a challenge >:3plus i ussaullay have around 100 ultra/dusk/timer balls so its no problem when pokemon escape from em

Back in Red and Blue, in that cave with Mewtwo, all those strong pokemon pissed me off when they never stayed in the pokeball. Especially Chansey. That pokemon (along with Tauros and Scyther and Kangashkan) were the hardest ever to capture.

Unlucky. I caught Giratina first attempt with an Ultra Ball

Its HP was orange, no status conditions either

    I'm lucky!

Catching legendaries get annoying sometimes even non legendaries! I remember on diamond I wasted 30 dusk balls and 3 quick balls trying to catch Uxie, and I had it asleep, and with almost no hp left, and I eventually was able to catch it and I was trying to catch Giratina in Diamond, and I used up so many pokeballs, I ended up using almost all of them except my normal pokeballs and a master ball. I ended up catching it with my last pokeball, and yeah... But still, I hate it whenever that happens! -.-
