Don't add me if we aren't going to talk.

I add people that want to add me, however if we do not talk, battle/trade in a month i delete them and send a PM saying nothing personal just like to keep my friends list tighty.
 
If we've never talked or met before, I will most likely not add you, regardless of what website I'm on. I don't randomly add people, and have them just exist on my friend's list cause, well, who the hell are you? If this is PC, try to talk to me a little before adding me. If we're talking FB, and we haven't ever met, or at least had a reason to interact, then why are you adding me?
 
I don't normally go around adding or accepting random people. Here however I did send a few friend requests to people that I traded Friend Codes with, usually I told them if they needed anything, or simply wanted to talk to send me a message.

Having said that however, it's a little redundant to get mad at people that don't talk to you, if you have accepted the request. Yeah, its not really cool to never say a word to you, but perhaps the person is shy and just sending you a request was hard enough for them. If you don't say anything yourself isn't it kind of the same thing? If you never intend to talk to them, or expect them to say anything to you after awhile just delete them and move on.
 
The only people I ever add are ones that I plan on talking to. Otherwise, I won't add the person. Just doesn't make sense to me. And if people stop talking to me, I'll delete them.
