I'll agree with you there! I never got a DSi because of lack of Backwards compatibility. Same reason why I asked for another PS2 from my Dad instead of getting a PS3. sadly that PS2 is now breaking, so idk what I'm going to do, buh.

What does the DSi add?

A bigger screen! It's a handheld, screen size doesn't matter.

DSiWare! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT IS.

Cameras! Really, really, really, really crappy cameras.

The only things it has on the DS Lite is external memory, music and being thinner. Also, there's no Crimson/Black colors.
