I haven't read enough of Gintama but from what I've seen so far I do agree.

FT has a cute female cast <3 /Lucy, Wendy, Levy, Raki, Virgo, Aries, Mira...

Gintama has a completely reasonable cast. Hell, 90% of the time the women are the only competent ones on the show while all the men are crazy in some way. :U

It's parody, don't think any of it's malicious. Although some of the stuff "To Love-Ru is super interesting" is obviously ironic or parodying the fanbase, meh.

Mirai Nikki, hmmmmm. It's well adapted, has good music and decent animation...but somehow it's not as exciting as the manga. I guess it's main draw was it's unpredictability reading through, not surprising I'm not overly hyped about it. There's a certain scene which I didn't expect in a shounen anime, I wonder if they'll keep it how it was in the manga or just imply, well whatever.

It's not about eating, it's about pride.
