That's the OVA series done. Didn't know it was directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, I presumed it was Yoko Kanno doing the music because of the random Russian in the songs though.

My random updates will stop when I get unbanned from MAL next week, I promise.

The 2nd Macross OVA series of the day is pretty crazy. As well as the usual singing, love triangles and transforming fighter plane robots it also has magical Mayan alien blood. It's like I'm watching that new(ish) Indiana Jones film all over again.
