19. Nothing really has changed here of late. The state legislature is usually controlled by a party that the governor is not a member of. And third party candidates always steal large chunks of the votes in our races, thus furthering the problem of nothing getting done in the time the Legislature has allotted to do stuff (they went into an extra session twice this decade iirc).
