OK, now I've got everything figured out:

HG ROM: Start with Chikorita, get Charmander, get Mudkip
Imported SS: Start with Cyndaquil, get Squirtle, get Treecko
HG American: Start with Chikorita, get Charmander, get Mudkip
SS American: Start with Totodile, get Bulbasaur, get Torchic

It's perfect 8D

I'm not going to use a ROM for HG/SS.
I can never stop myself from using save states to cheat(and my mouse makes a god awful replacement for a stylus.)
And besides, sometimes parts of the games don't work whatsoever. I downloaded megaman(the new one) 2 and I couldn't even see my own sprite. I'll be damned if I'm eleventh while typing up this storm.

Daaaaw. But, playing clarinet(?) is still fun, right? I wouldn't know since I'm a brass player, so yeah XD
