create.swf + GIMP for transparency, cropping, resizing, etc. (+ MS Paint occasionally to add in little details that GIMP can't i.e. curved lines)

10. Same, GIMP. I'm not too creative, though, and rely too much on Gimp's various filters options for effects :P
