I doubt Fairy Tail will be a long anime, if it follows the same pattern as Rave. A long manga, yes, but not a long anime.

Okay, maybe I will check out Fairy Tail. Clannad was 48 episodes in conjunction with After Story, and it wasn't that bad of length for two seasons.
