Also, it's hard to find an anime convention here in Minnesota. But I'm pretty sure there's a comic con for Western comics, though. Somewhere. I usually just get by on going to large hobby shops for events. The one I usually go to can host up to 400 people for events, and could probably remodel what it has to make room for more.
