Nope. John McCain might have had my vote if Sarah Palin wasn't his VP choice. McCain's funding sources were the other 60%. Of course, if Minnesota's governor Tim Pawlenty was his VP choice, I would have most definitely voted Obama. I can't stand Pawlenty's blundering when it comes to cuts. He got into office in both '02 and '06 with less than 50% of the votes.

To me, both parties have shady deals going behind their backs on that one. :/ I don't much care for Pawlenty but Texas' governor Rick Perry is a rather arrogant man himself (I believe his name came up once or twice). I liked his fiscal reforms, but his social reforms put a strain on the people who can't afford his useless mandates. :/ (All girls forced to pay $300 for a Gardasil shot, whoo-hoo...). Ah well, at least he undid it. (b'')b I can't say I disapprove of his comments on Texas secession, though.
