I like the first one better. I think the only thing it needs is possibly an outer/inner glow around it, to hide those little white dots you see around them. Even so, there isn't a lot and it's no too noticeable. :3

Outer Glow should to the trick. Inner Glow is just for back-up/support. It's no essential. (At least on Photoshop it ain't.)
