26. Levels are determined by how many times you erase rows. You want to get as many blocks as possible with as few tries as possible. You want to get a Tetris (4 rows at once) nearly every time, ideally, but you do have to know when to cut your losses.

I have games between 3,000 and 14,000 usually.
