haha, that's true. When I was watching Pokemon during the cruise (again, Cartoon Network was the only good channel), I was really surprised to hear an instrumental of one of the Japanese Openings during the episode, since it was dubbed and all.

Aye, it is. But that's typical in dubs.

I've noticed with dubs they do three things. Either they keep the soundtrack but replace any songs that are instrumental of the japanese openings with a different bgm; completely replace the soundtrack and put in new music (/coughbeybladecough), or actually keep the whole soundtrack. /sage nod

It's generally a money issue. they have to buy the rights to play the music or whatever so they tend to cut corners....A Lot, especially with Funimation and their dub OPs

Why, of all the routes in Sinnoh, did they have to orchestrate Route 210? It was upbeat and full of the promise of adventure. It doesn't work as some melancholy tune to be played at the end of the episode. D:
