Could it be... Drag Racing?

Alright, I beat Pokemon X in 24:01

needless to say....

Yes, it's a great game, awesome music, but the whole Team Flare plot seems rushed and unfinished

Lysandre just comes out of nowhere

"OH HI, EVERYONE BUT TEAM FLARE IS GOING TO DIE, OKAY? OH, FEEL FREE TO COME AND EXPLORE MY SECRET LAB"

would've liked to see them unearth Xerneas/Yvetal and give Zygarde more of a role

and the "Unknown Dungeon" seemed really anti-climactic

"You need to be a Champion to enter here"

THERE'S ONLY ONE POKEMON FOR CRYING OUT LOUD

Also, I wish you could re-battle AZ, he's a really interesting character

ironically, it seemed like he had the most thought and story behind him

Team Flare is pretty much the same as Team Rocket if you think about it...

Ehh, Lysandre had motivation at least. He wanted to help people, but they're all obtuse pricks, the planet is completely overcrowded and we're running out of resources. So let's kill everyone but a chosen few.

Team Flare in general was rushed and unfinished though, I agree. The dungeons were ridiculously simple and uninteresting. Compare them to Silph Co., Team Galactic HQ, or anything, really. They even used the same dungeon twice, which boggles my mind.

And then there's AZ who had a big flipping backstory but only about five minutes of screentime. Felt so out of context. Other potentially interesting things such as that one E4 member/news announcer girl having been part of Team Flare were brushed over, too.

Yeah. I get the feeling that after generation five, the most plot-heavy main Pokémon games to date, they wanted to be interesting and had a theme getting started, but all the other things they wanted to throw in, as well as the major work that went into creating a full 3D pokémon game for the first time, PLUS the worlwide deadline they had set for themselves, simply left many things unfinished.

Luckily, it's still a very enjoyable couple of games, with many really awesome additions.

Exactly. D/P weren't very well optimised for the DS, which is why I can let things like the framerate drops and design shortcuts in X/Y slide.

But D/P still managed to bring us a relatively fleshed out plot, challenging dungeons, and actual post-game content! The latter two of those things, X/Y pretty much lacked entirely.

You probably should.

Mods are supposed to set an example. I'm considering breaking rules right now and I just started smoking.
