With the episode 4 download failing 4 times in an hour, I'm much less inclined to continue the series now. The first three eps were fine. But I'll put it on hold.

The unnecessary fanservice was irksome, though. It fits anime like Freezing and Kill la Kill. Former is an ecchi and later is just so ****ing over the top nothing really matters apart from the madness on the screen. But I prefer other normal animu to have less FS. :3

Actually, that reminds me...the whole reason I started watching the Rebuilds (other than because Eva was on my too watch list) was because of Beautiful World and its remix (the ending themes to 1 and 2). Played 'em in Osu, loved 'em to death, and that was basically my motivation for watching the movies.

...But 3 is 3...so...

Oddly enough my favourite thing about the Rebuilds was the Utada Hikaru ending songs. Honestly 1 and 2 were pretty decent action flicks, and if I hadn't previously seen the tv series I would have probably enjoyed them quite a lot. 3 on the other hand, well, you'll see when you get around to it. 4 will have to be better than EoE to salvage that garbage.

Literally nothing in the rebuilds bettered the tv series and EoE.
