OK, so I just finished Zidane's story for Dissidia, and I was deciding who's story to do next. I thought, "OK, I'll do Cecil's because I've played FFIV, and though I used cheats, it's the only FF game I've actually beaten". I go to look at his attacks.
His default ground HP move is called "Soul Eater".
...I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING.
Though it also means I could go through Bartz's story again, since if I recall correctly his have the same names, and his default ground HP move is the same as Cecil's.
/but yeah totally doing Cecil's story now

Which means you should totally try to beat Abyssion in Tales of Symphonia.
Because one of the Devil Arms that you collect is called the 'Soul Eater'.
However, it's pointless unlessyou have Zelos/Kratos beat up a whole bunch of enemies. ;^^ Because the power of the weapon is about... +.02 x the numbers of enemies that particular person has beaten (thus obviously, Lloyd's Nebilim weapon after you defeat Abyssion will do 2000+ damage per hit after a few playthroughs. :3; )
