Meh, I found it annoying in WOFZ, so I try to prevent myself from not doing it like that here. Besides, I'd rather crush the dreams of a high number at 100 than at a measly number of 1.

And in a way, isn't it more cruel to "crush" it then just reset at a low number? I guess I can see why Nica does it then. Lowering expectations is good. /even if unintended

Moby Dick was a horror to read. I could not get through it whatsoever. One of the movies was OK, though (I think it was the 50s one?). It was the same case with The Grapes of Wrath.
