4th Gen Don't you think the overdid evolution this time...?

Some of the new ones are cool but some were unnecesary such as Ambipom whihc in my opinion takes away all the cool cute qualities aipom originally had
Then there's lickliky and dont get me started on togekiss.....
What evolutions did you guys felt were overdone?

Magnezone and the much needed new Eeveelutions are pretty cool but the others are either creepy or stupid looking (or both).

I started playing Pokemon when I was about 6 or 7 if I had an Aipom and evolved it I would never use it again due to fear lol

Yeah, I think Magmator, the evolved of Electrike and Nosepass are weird, and ugly looking.

I personally love Togekiss; what I don't like is Magmortar.

For me it just changed to much when you compare to the begining of it, Togepi being an "egg like" pokemon then when it grew wings I was afraid of a third evolution like togekiss...
I guess its pretty creative though...

And Probopess is another ruined pokemon that I agree with lol

Since I'm new to D/P, I have a picture of all the Pokemon, and I'm guessing Togekiss is what comes after Magmorter? I don't like it, they went too far. It's underside looks like the laffy taffy that has the sparkle sprinkles on the top of it. And also what I see is what looks like a Porygon 2.0 I'll call it ( =P ) Porygon was square, hence why he was Porygon basically, so now he evolves into something completely opposite? =/ No thanks ^_^

If you ask me, Magnemite, Tangela, Lickitung, Nosepass and Togetic didn't need any evolutions. They just seem...so unessesary. Or maybe I'm just saying that because I think the evolutions of said Pokemon all look weird....

Magmortar, Dusknoir and Rhyperior I don't mind though.
....'Cause they don't seem unnessary and weird-looking.

They gave the wrong pokémon evolutions. Magmar, Electabuzz, Rhydon and Sneasel didn't really need evolutions, while pokémon like Farfetch'd and Ledian did.

Well, I don't like Lickylicky and Ambipom, I'd rather want them to invent new pokemon instead. Besides in D/P (not Platinum) it's so hard to get the magmarizer and Electrizer.

Comeptitive point of view:
Yanmega, Magmortar, Togekiss,Gliscor and ESPECIALLY Magnezone were great additions

Aesthetic Point of view:
Eeveelutions are cool, Magmortar is EPICNESS. Electivire fails however and dont even mention Dusknoir

Honchcrow, Mismagius, Leafeon, Glaceon and Gallade were NECESSARY. They're also totally epic and have good stats to boot.
Weavile, Froslass and Dusknoir are pretty cool.
Yanmega I approve of. Isn't it like, the only bug in the OU tier? xD
Now Probopass, Magnezone, Lickilicky, Gliscor, Ambipom and Tangrowth. WTF were they thinking? Those things look horrible and nobody even gives a crap about their pre-evos.
Electivire, Rhyperior, Mamoswine and Magmortar. They're absolute EYESORES, but they're pretty good battlers and somewhat necessary so whatever.

Oh, and Togekiss is Satan's corporeal form. No questions asked.
If I missed any then I probably don't care about them enough.

I don't have anything against number of evos, just some designs really, it almost look like they were forced through.
Even though some just plainly hit it, like Yanmega, lovin that giant bug =)

I agree with all of the new evolutions aside from Lickilicky. It's almost the same.
The rest are either different or improved versions of underpowered pokemon.

And guys... Yanmega is accompanied by Heracross, Scizor and Forretress in OU, it's not alone. Magmortar and Mamoswine look awesome, contrary to what people say and the Rhyhorn line went 4,2,2 legs. People crawl on fours when they're young, too...
