4th Gen Don't you think the overdid evolution this time...?

Oh yeah, Yanmega!! I don't like that thing's design AT ALL. It looks like a...eight-year old drew it!!
But I suppose if I tried training one, I might like it. :cer_tongue:
 
im ok with most, but making the first seasons pokemon evolve is stupid IMO, the ones like Magmar, Electabuzz and Tangla should be left alone, they ruined the originality in those ones.
 
when pokemon first came out and i was like 4 or 5, tangla was my favorite pokemon (besides pikachu of-coarse).
but now that i see this new weird looking excuse for the evolution of tangla *sigh* *shakes head*
 
Rhyperior was possibly the most unnecessary evolution of them all, no? As if Rhydon wasn't already good enough, they had to go and make it have another evolution. Magnezone was in a similar boat, really, given that Magneton was arguably the best Skarmory counter in the Gen III metagame.

I liked Togekiss, though, and Gliscor, especially.

Weavile: I'M FAST AS PISS AND I CAN CUT YOU LIKE A MILLION TIMES. ALSO I JUMPED FROM BOTTOM OF UU TO TOP OF OU IN A SINGLE GEN.
Electivire: Alright. Kinda overrated.

Ambipom sucks, and you can't say you expected something better for Lickilicky. And the Eevees suck because they're generic felines and only in for bestiality fans.

I agree. I don't think it 'de-cutifies' aipom at all. and plus, its a freakin beast! do you have four arms?! didn't think so.

my thoughts on the new evolutions
Probopass - anyone want some megablocks?
Togekiss-hell its a spikeball pokemon gone jetplane who doesn't like jets
Magmortar- no, just no
Leafeon- this is just takes woodland creature to a whole new level
Glaceon- reminds me of a girl with "goth" hairbangs
Ambipom- its tail hands look like latex gloves blown up like balloons
Mismagius - no problems here
Gliscor - its a bird its a plane no its just a man bat
Weavile - snow weasles
Gallade- his elbows are swords o_O;
Lickilicky-for some reason i think of bubble gum
Magnezone- Unidentified flying pokemon?
Electivire - hes a beast
Tangrowth - back hair
Yanmega - *sports the sonic from brawl voice and quote* "You're Too Slow!" or in other words "I'm Too Cheap!" :\
Rhyperior- triceratops megazord from powerrangers
Dusknoir- No problems here
Porygon-Z - Viral Duck < Virtual Duck, i just like porygon 2 more than Z
Mamoswine - Land Before Time...
Froslass- No Problems here
Honchrow - Hes a mob boss :D
 
Hmm? Heck no. I love all the new evos, it makes them more compatible to competitive battling, take Tangela for example, Tangrowth is really cooler-looking, and it has great Defense.

I'm actually currently trying to catch all of them right now.
 
For me some of these evos are the Worst.Pokémon.Ever.

Glaceon, Leafeon, Magnezone, Weavile and Gliscor are simply awesonemess made flesh/metal and I am more than happy they are here. Yanmega and Gallade look cool, and I can live with them. Dusknoir and Mamoswine were unexpected for me, but they worked anyway.

Togekiss and Probopass... I don't even know what to think about that... just looking at them my mind deadlocks.

And then... Rhyperon, Magmortar, Licklicky and Tangrowth... well as I said above. I mean, come on! They had already ruined Onix and Scyther with those Gen II evos. Now they had to ruin more cool Pokémon too? I particularily mean Magmar... some Pokémon were cool because they had no evos. They were just badass by design.

Oh well... at least they have not ruined Lapras and Marowak yet. But I no longer know what to expect. I mean, they did create Nosepass and Probopass after all...
