Dawn: Riolu is the "fighting" type of Pokemon. Not contests. They are good for contests in the GAMES, but remember, this is the anime. They have a difference. 0%
Now says who? Contests in the games are different from the anime. Like I said on top.
No really. Who says Riolu is only for fighting? Even if it's different in the anime what law was said in the anime, manga, or anywhere that
"Riolu can only be used for fighting."?
And I'm sure you don't mean that because he is a "Fighting Type" like Lucario is "Fighting/Steel" he can't do contests. If all non-cute Pokemon types were not allowed in contests where would Harley be? Hell, where would May's Blaziken be? Blaziken is a "fighting type" of Pokemon in both senses of the term your using and is was used frequently in the anime contests.
And who said that good fighting pokemon can't do contests? Fatina is a Gym Leader and does contests. In the anime as well. Wallace was a Gym Leader, now a Champion, and also a Top Coordinator in the anime.
Who says pokemon for 'fighting' cannot be used for contests in anime or games? I don't know what this 'difference' is your getting at besides this unknown law that says "Riolu is a fighting pokemon only.", but I don't see any of that.
You can't be talking about the "Fighting Type" because May's Blaziken does contests in the anime.
You can't be talking about a "pokemon more fit for battles" because some of the Top Coordinators are the top battlers in the game and the anime.
Please clarify what this difference is.
(Just as Lornami says, she'll get it because she hasn't gotten an egg AND Riolu can appeal.)
...I said absolutely no such thing. I said Riolu can be good for contests. I never said I think Dawn should have it. If you looked 'on top' I said I can't see anyone with a Riolu egg, and wished the previous Riolu would return.
