DP 108 Discussion (Spoiler alert)

well i went on that site and also read something very very intesting

here it is

"Ambipom Figure - Aipom evolves
Glaceon figure - May shows up and Eevee has evolved into Glaceon
Grotle figure - Turtwig evolves
Lucario figure - Riley+Lucario episode
Darkrai figure: Cresselia vs Darkrai


Everything has happened in synchronization with the figures. Piloswine and Monferno figures are being released soon.

Swinub and Chimchar will both be evolved by February, i'd almost bet on it."
 
yeah he is...expect chimchar to involve in a few months time also

I'm still upset that Satoshi didn't get the Riolu which he had a freaking aura connection with! I mean what cooler pokemon could you get? (Not that I don't adore Gliscor's presence.)

Well Shirona was supposed to give you medicine to cure the Koduck, but that wouldn't take a whole epsiode so there are some things that don't keep consistent with the games.

I...Just can't see anyone getting a Riolu because it wouldn't live up to the Riolu we've already seen. It's rare you get Pokemon featured twice.

well i kinda hope dawn gets the egg, after all ash already has chimchar and turtwig. so dawn should have piplup and riolu. besides, she hasn't had an egg yet! although i want jun to get it! he's awesome! :pink_laugh:

Heck no Dawn. PLEASE NOT HER. She'll abuse Riolu's powers! Roilu is meant for battles, not contests!

Let Ash have it! If he gets the egg, he STILL gets a period of time to send one of his Pokemon back to Ookido-hagase.

As for Brock, he already got a Happiny. And he is so not the Riolu type. Ash is.
 
None of the three deserve a Riolu. Why?
Ash will ruin it
Dawn will use it for contests. Riolu is used for fights.
Brock had many eggs before, why another one?

Does Paul deserve a Riolu? No. He'll just KO-it four times before he noticed that it can't fight.

Team Rocket? They just suck...

The only good person is Jun or Maylene.
 
I want Dawn to get it just to see all the faces of the Riolu for Ash fans. And brock has had one actual egg.
 
Besides episode 108 the thread is for the other 6 before it!
 
Er, where there is already a thread to discuss the Japanese episodes to come "The Upcoming Japanese Titles thread" which is usually used to discuss future episodes, but latley there seem to be loads of threads discussing them...

Now that I think about it, a lot of people don't really deserve the egg. [Note: (...) means I have some more notes.]

Ash: ...Haven't thought about him, but he doesn't seem to be it. He blew his chance for getting that Riolu with a freaking Aura Sphere, now he has to learn his lesson. 0%
(The majority says he'll get it though.)
Dawn: Riolu is the "fighting" type of Pokemon. Not contests. They are good for contests in the GAMES, but remember, this is the anime. They have a difference. 0%
(Just as Lornami says, she'll get it because she hasn't gotten an egg AND Riolu can appeal.)
Brock: What is HE gonna do with it, huh? He is a breeder. 0%
(No one talks about him, right? Seriously. He got an egg already in the series.)
Paul: WHAT? Him? He'd treat Riolu cruelly! And he seems to NOT be the happiness type. Riolu will NEVER evolve under his harsh training. Unless Riolu is tough like Paul... 0%.
(Unless he is gonna appear in the episode, fat chance. If he does, I'd doubt if Riley WOULD give it to him.)

Now says who? Contests in the games are different from the anime. Like I said on top.

Okay after seeing the Mystery of Mew movie and the new ranger episode...seeing how Ash seems to connect to that lucario and then this riolu, plus having a tie with Maylene's Lucario...this can all be signs of a high chance that Ash will recieve the egg, it'll hatch, ash will send it to oak, and then after the sinnoh pkmn league ash will take riolu with him........I mean look at what happened to Phanphy......

Probably some people who don't like aura fans. Seeing as it's all around the Pokemon fandom, probably Serebii?
 
TBH, when I first joined Serebii, one had a look at the typical Auraholic and detested them, but because most people called the 'Ash for Riolu fanboys/girls', one decided that it was unwieldy and referred to them as Auraholics.

In short, I think I coined the term, as I don't recall anyone else doing so earlier.
 
If Ash gets a Riolu then:
A) Let Team Rocket steal it!
B) He releases it
C) Let Paul take it because he let Ash have Chimmy
D) Brock cooks it -_-
E) Wild Pokemon break the pokeball and steal it
F) Riolu runs away (Best one)
