DP131 Review thread.

    So DP131 just aired. I will have my review as soon as possible if I get to find a version of it and all. But I did see DP132 preview. That monkey is a bullet now.
     
    This episode was really good, I thought!

    - They're talking about Yuxie ~
    - Pikachu sitting with the Pokeballs was really cute
    - LOL it was Lucky this time! Nice change
    - The crazy language is looking more and more like Japanese all the time, I'm sure
    - Masura Taun no Satoshi-kun desu ne! Advertise Masura Town!
    - Since there's a referee, this is an offical battle?
    - Satoshi is confident, as usual ~ Makes me feel sorry for him
    - Hopefully Rocket-Dan are going to be keeping out of the battle and just watching. But wow, they're making a big deal of this battle. Not that that's bad ~
    - Apparently, those disguises are from an episode that aired 11 years ago, the one with Kojiro's fiance
    - Odd, to make a change, even though they shown a shot of Hikari etc watching, they didn't say a thing. Just shows how epic they're making this battle
    - LOL he recalls Buizel straght away! I was *not* expecting that! I thought Satoshi would just go with it, like he usually does
    - Shinji doesn't say anything haha
    - Hmm, it looks like Hikari is really concentrating
    - They're bringing back the RBY Champion Theme a lot recently
    - Shinji keeps Dodatoise out even though it's really tired...Satoshi doesn't do that. Just a random thought
    - Whoa, quick loss for Mukuhawk?
    - Oh, it's still in
    - I love how they say a lot fo the attacks in English
    - Shinji smirk
    - Another movie 9 track haha
    - Buuburn is scary o.O
    - Ahhh! I can't wait for next week now!
     
    -The Pikachu with the Poke Balls thing, pretty cute
    -Epic setup is epic.
    -Torterra vs. Buizel?

    -YOU DARE BITE ITS TAIL?! BLASPHEMY, DODAITOSE!
    -Using Fire Fang to get rid of Giga Drain...nice.
    -Glion's really becoming competent at battling. <3
    -Wait, STONE EDGE? :|
    -Haya vs. Electabuzz? OK, I guess...
    -Oh wait, he just wanted to be cheap and use Light Screen. WEAK.
    -Paul's Honch is an ass. I bet you ANYTHING it'll be what evolves Chimmy; third time's the charm after all. =)
    -Poor Haya...didn't get to exact its revenge.
    -Buuburn looks...fat and evil. :|
    -Yay, Pikachu is doing pretty well against it

    OMG OMG OMG, THIS IS SO OFFICIAL THAT HIKOZARU IS A MOKOUZARU NOW.

    Damn, I'll have to watch this episode now...

    - Thank GOD TR are gonna watch the battle.
    - WHEN DID THEY GET SHINJI'S PICTURE?!
    - Dodaitose VS Buizel?! Size...
    - That was sudden, Satoshi.

    - Noticed something from the commentors. "Man they got a ref and everything. Guess the producers could'nt wait until the Legue. " XD

    - Shinji doesn't say anything, does he...?
    - Shinji, what a cheapo- I seem to be complaining about his inactivity.
    - OH! He has a lovely grin. A LOVELY one.
    - I don't understand what Reiji was saying at all.
    - Hayashigame is PWNED.
    - SO MANY RED BEAMS FLYING AROUND!!! (Meaning: They return Pokemon a lot.)

    - I still love the ending so much. Cute.
    - If me and my family go to Japan, I'll check out the new movie, and if okay, I would take out my DS secretly and get the Arceus. :)

    - My beans say Satoko'll lose.
    - My beans'll say Shinji wins. :) I'm rooting for him.

    In this battle we see Ash taking on Shinji. Yet somehow the battle doesn't look all the intense. I mean, I don't get the this-is-an-epic-battle feeling like a had when Gary vs. Ash after the Orange League.
    I hope the next episode is going to change that, the preview looks promissing.
    By the way, anyone else find Shinji just looks weird drawn in this screencap?

    I agree with you. I didn't feel any intensity/edge-of-your-seat whatsoever, at least during the last half of the battle. Poor choice of bgm; that star wars-esque Movie9 music which played from Honchkrow vs Grotle all the way 'till the end was awkward, and a lot of tension disappeared with it.

    I also feel that all the comments from Brock and Reggie was a cause to it as well. I mean, it felt like 5 second battle, 10 second talk, 5 sec battle, 10 sec.. etc.

    Let's hope the next part makes up for this one. And I swear, if they put in Symphonic Medley as an insert song during the climax, then i'm gonna murder the damn music editor >_<
