Slightly relieved that the executive hadn't paid him that much attention, Sem tried his best to memorize everything that the girl had said. Well, he concluded with a gulp, he certainly wouldn't be forgetting the part about crossing her in a serious situation any time soon, the way her expression and tone had shifted at that point had been shocking enough to make Sem realize that certainly didn't want to see Mika get angry for real.
With this in mind, he was quite quick to oblige when the executive ordered them to sitt down before she requested...introductions? The boy flinched, he had hoped that he would have been granted the chance to sitt on the sidelines, quiet and ignored, until he had composed himself, but apparently that was not to be.
'Still...' he comforted himself, casting a tentative glance towards the first person to speak up, 'At least I'm not the only one who seems to be having stage fright...'
"Y'know, on the flip side, that's kind of annoying..."
"Huh?" Sem almost sprung up at the intrusion of a foreign voice in his mind, although luckily his voice had been pretty low, whereas Blue was stating his own past, hopefully attracting the attention of the others as well.
At the moment, the boy had more pressing concerns, however, as a number of other thoughts drifted across his mind, muddled and hazy, but definitely foreign.
'Come on...' he thought desperately, reaching for the PSD and trying his best to work the delicate little controls worked into it while still looking as unconspicious as he could, 'Don't tell me you're malfunctioning now...'
After a few more minutes of frantic fiddling, the voices settled, however. 'Guess it just needed a little adjustment' Sem conclued, heaving a sigh of relief...well, at least he was relieved until he realized that Blue had already finished speaking in the mean time and that he had once again probably come across as a weirdo, fiddling with what looked like an earring as he had been.
"Umm..." the boy began uncertainly, feeling the blush creep up on his cheeks once more as he rose onto his feet in a rather shaky manner. No-one else was speaking up, so he assumed that he was expected to do so, "I-I'm Seymoure..." he took a deep breath, attempting to steady his voice a bit, "Seymoure Graye. Er...most people call me Sem, though, or...number seventeen." the boy took a pause, "I-I was born in the lab here...I think...that is, that's what I've been told..." he trailed off for another awkward moment, "And...I-I don't have that many accomplishments, madame executive." he continued in an apologetic voice, "...but...I-I did beat six opponents once, under deprivation of sight, hearing, and touch, and with my hands tied behind my back." there was a tiny hint of pride in the statement, but it quite quickly gave away under the awkwardness of his situation, "And...I don't really know much about desserts." he confessed, his face now easily redder than a Torkoal's, "Although I did get some ice cream once...so...I guess that's my favourite."
The last sentence seemed to have all but drained his energy, though, the boy slumping down on the chair and trembling slightly, careful to avoid eye contact, "I'm sorry..." he finished feebly, "I'm...not really used to people..."
