Dragonball Kai (aka DBZ Remastered)

Wait, what?

If it's just remastered, but still looks all.. 1993-ish.. I'm going to Rage. >_>

Theres two trailers out on youtube that show some footage.

yeah but the footage is just remastered they arent going to redo the whole series and they are talking about shortening it to 100 episodes or something close to that. but if they are drawing its probally the opening and closing titles and/or touching it up a bit but not redoing the whole thing

Im watching it right now :]. I Love the opening. Im not spilling any Spoilers. But Yeah. i like it.

I know that it's not suppose to have any fillers or nothing, but I really hope they keep that Super Saiyan 3 episode just the way it was before.....Epic Screaming for 20 minutes straight! Nothng like Goku turning SSJ3 in HD!!

I might give it a go. I tried to watch DBZ sometime last year, and couldn't stand the filler content and battle lengths (yes, I know this is what a lot of people liked about the series), not to mention I had a tough time finding it subbed on any streaming video sites. Even the nostalgia factor couldn't bring me to watch it; I loved it as a kid, but somehow I still wasn't able to watch it. If they've cut the series to 100 episodes, it stands to reason that it'll be much more to the point, and thus more to my liking.

They might as well have redrawn it. It's just brighter colors, but no fillers -- and that's always good. No more 3 episode power ups.

And no more 12 episode Garlic Jr filler arc.

And no more three episode fight with the Ginyu Force on King Kai's planet.

There are so many reasons to watch this.

And just to clarify. This is NOT a remake. They only touched up the animation for the high definition release, and they cut it to around 100 or so episodes (basically all the major filler is gone). Think of it as a remastering, much in the vein of what Disney does with their classic movies every 7 years, but without as much of the BS. So this will be the closest to the Manga that they've ever come with the series. And if you've seen Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, you know this is a good thing.

I didn't get a chance to look at Uncut much. DBZ Remastered? Why not? Dragon Ball Z was one of the best shows ever.
