    THEIR soo COOLL!!! OMG THERE SO FAST TOO AND THEY'RE GUITARISTS ARE AMAZING!!! I wish I was GOOD AT GUITAR AS THEY ARE!!!

    HAS anyone Else HEARd THEM!?
     
    no I never heard of them before put a bio about them and a couple of there good songs so I can determine whether they are good or not in my opinion

    anyway fast isnt the word, more like god-like fast, currently the fastest guitar players.
     
    Kirk Hammet, Metallica's lead guitarist, said they were the fastest guitar players he's even seen.

    Just go to youtube and type in Dragonforce and watch the video of Operation Ground and Pound.
     
    Fast playing = Boring.

    They kinda suck. The worse is that you don'y find anything much better than them this days.
     
    Awww...a band with much 80's influence. I think they're hilarious. I definitely believe that these guys are extremely talented, but not all fast music is good. However, they definitely throw in some amazing stuff. Not anywhere near my tops list, but I definitely have great respect for these guys.
     
    Fast? Who needs fast?

    When did David Gilmour, frank zappa, Robert Fripp or The Edge, need to play 'fast' to arrange "godly" soloing techniques?
    When did shredding start earning guitarists a 'god' status?
    When did 400 notes become worthier than 50?
    What if I don't enjoy Dragonforce because I prefer quality over quantity?

    ...fast? Who the heck needs fast that bad?
     
    They are fast and all, but apart from that, they sorta lack something from other power metal bands.
    I had a phase in my life where I loved them too though.

    Now I'm in love with Rhapsody (of Fire), since they sing about dragons and knights and swords and stuff.
     
    Well...the music entertainment industry thrives on originality. They are seriously the fastest guitarists just about anyone's ever seen, so they give the people a new sound. Sure it's a fad, but fads are cool if you realize they're fads.
     
    Too much emphasis is placed on their fast playing but hey, they're a speed/power metal band. Although there certainly have been better exponents of the genre, DragonForce are good enough to listen to.
     
    lets just say i can beat just about every song on guitar hero 2 on expert, but those modded songs in which you can play dragonforce songs, i'd be too scared to even attempt those :P

    dragonforce rocks, you've gotta be in the epic mode to listen to them though :P
     
    Dragonforce is just horrible. Sure the guitarists can play fast, but does it sound good? A: No. The lyrics are cheesy. Songs sound exactly the same. Those same cheesy lyrics are re-used a lot. The fast shredding, although impressive, just sounds boring. The singer is just as cheesy as you can get.
