last thing about garchomp.

u really dont even need some super special EV trained regice or something to beat it. in platinum, i beat cynthia's garchomp pretty easily with a lvl 49 Sneasel. Icy Wind owns lol. hits hard and reduces speed. then just slash to finish up. the end. bye bye ya old ass dinosaur.

and i think disturbed's indestructible track would be great for the dragon's den! :)
it is a super badass song :P

Here's the cruel reality of the pokemon games:
ANYTHING can work in the games, vs. the computers.
If you were to try your Sneasel on my Garchomp...
SLICE goes the weasel!
(In other words, It won't even get a chance to even USE a move.)
Besides that, Icy Wind is worthless on Sneasel & Weavile because of their WIMPY special attack. Maybe it's good on COMPUTER players, but it's USELESS vs. HUMAN players. If you were to battle my Garchomp, try a Weavile with Ice Punch. It'll be far more effective.
For the topic...
I think the Shadow Dragon medley from SSBB would be a good theme for Dragon pokemon...
& do any of you remember the music for the Dragon's den on Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal?

lol ill have to disagree with that. anything can work against human's as well because, chances are, humans are going to make more mistakes battling than the computer bosses will. oh and i also have ice punch on him i just used icy wind for the stat reduction since i mean cmon this is a lvl 49 against a lvl 63-65 whatever it was.
and my sneasel actually has pretty good special attack thanx! lol.
total moveset:
icy wind
ice punch
slash
faint attack
just a pretty straight attack set with whatever item it was to up the crit hit ratio.

So true. Sneasel can't kill Garchomp. Only tough ones can. Like Regice, or Registeel with Ice-punch, or better Mewtwo. Or someone that can resist it's attacks and has it's super-effective moves.

Regice can not counter Garchomp or any other reasonably good dragon that attacks physically..k?

as purple explains, yet again, below this (next quote) regice really isnt that great. in my opinion garchomp is no show horse either since all it takes is one or two good ice moves (like the ones from my SNEASEL!) lol and dino boy is down xD
all the sneasel really needs is good speed (which it has naturally) and decent atk or sp.atk and boom . bye bye dino. the end.

Huh? I thought chomp is a "land shark"? What if chomp uses rock-type attacks eh? lol I prefer mence and tyranitar over chomp.

Regice can buff any sp. attack while it can't really protect itself against strong physical attack. So what if I like the Regis eh?

I vote for vallander which is reasonably active. lolz

I'm gonna say that we should pick someone fairly new, active and fresh. To keep the Den youthful. Us older guys can kinda sit back and not worry about to much then. In the end it will be us, the owners, who will chose.

Ok, on the recent topics.

A theme song for Dragon Types? I was going to suggest the Dragon's Den theme song from the Metal games but improved. Or something like Hard Rockish....like, Wolfmother or something. :P

Finally, I'd nominate the person that the majority supports. Power to the people. As long as that person keeps this thread alive and stays active, my vote goes to them. :P
