Baton pass is so ass its not funny. As an example, Not long ago (maybe 30 minutes ago) I was on PBR random Battling a guy with a Baton pass team. He had Venonat, Politoed and Metagross, aagainst my Hippowdon, Scizor and Salamence. He has a freaking scarf lead venonat which hippy kindly takes down to 1 hp, activating sash and then he uses agility. Im like uh, okay..... So then He agilitys again, and I set up rocks. He then baton passes to a Politoed, and I recall Hippowdon and Send out Scizor. Then, te politoed uses Belly drum. Scizor uses Swords dance. Next turn, before he can BP to metagross, I stick him with a Life orb +2 STABBED 90 Base Power Bullet punch and OHKO him.o now Politoed is screwed and so are his chances of winning. I went on to win 3-0.

Baton pass can be severly ****ed up by priority or anything of the sort. DO NOT use it. EVER.

Reminds of the time I tried a Baton Pass team on PBR. I was doing that whole "Spore, Belly Drum, Agility, Baton Pass" Smeargle. The first person I fought was a person who led with Honchkrow (Insomnia). x_x

Ok then. How should I switch my Chomp in then? I am new to this though, and it is kinda confusing.
 
How about not using Baton Pass? The regular switch will do, and I'll do wonders and surprises. Let's say you can switch it with Walrein.
 
Switch it in on something it resists or is immune to like fire or electric type attacks. Don't just switch it in on anything though

He might be using Ubers, so might as well say something here before we'll battle on Monday. The first 3 are tanks, and the 3 are sweepers. And all are lvl 100, and finished EV training them(so no more EV tips, too late for that).
 
Where do you get the life orbs/focus sashes etc.? I get so frustrated trying to find them.

You can buy a Focus Sash at the Battle Frontier for 48 Battle Points, and you can get a Life Orb on a cliff by Stark Mountain. You'll need Rock Climb for the orb, though.

By the way, you can get a free Sash on the same route as the Pal Park if you show the old guy a Pokemon of a certain level.
