About shiny Pokemon, I'd like to see Rayquaza have a more distinct shiny coloration.
He still looks pretty cool, though.

origin :3 its just very well designed and imo its better at battle

Origin, definitely. Altered looks kind of...fat :P, and I prefer offensive Pokemon in battle.

I prefer origin over altered because it just looks better. I have never used a Giratina even in Platinum so I don't know about battling with it.

Which dragon has the best Shiny sprite- Without a doubt Latios. Green Latios with sparkles looks good.

Pokemon in need of a new Shiny sprite- My other partner, Dragonite. IMO the original dragon's 5th gen sprite just doesn't really do it justice, but the shiny colors take the awfulness to a whole new level!

@sayan i agree with u about dragonite. it's shiny form is awful!!!!

IMO Dragonite's regular and shiny sprite both need to change. It's horn of the current sprite is two big (please don't try to find any double meanings in this) and it looks kinda dumb. Just compare the sprites from RS, HGSS and BW and see for yourselves.

Preferred different colors for shiny? Dragonite.. Green doesn't suit it well at all


Mono-Dragon Party? Simple. Go with my favorite Pokemon, and in these order. Latios to be the leader, and Latias to be the final, last chance to win (She never disappoints me neither haha)

Yeah, I also agree that Giratina-O looks much more badass awe-inspiring than the normal forme. It has a much more ghostly look, mostly because of its levitating serpentine body and the black streamer-like features on its back. IMO Giratina in its six legged normal forme kinda looks like a cross between a bug and a dinosaur, nothing ghostly or draconic in that.

Dragonite. Green greatly reminds me of a grass type, and Dragonite's drastic color change is very...different.

Origin. The same reasons you all gave: Looks much more fierce, prefer flying than land, and the fact it looks more graceful that way.

Although I said Latios's shiny sprite was my favorite, I also really like the shiny black Rayquaza.

I just posted in another topic about making Gyarados Water/Dragon. Charizard also looks quite deserving, especially considering that we only have 1 Fire/Dragon.

In other words, the way I say it, 'if we were to add a 3rd typing to Pokemon as a new addition, who would be new to the Dragon family?'

My answer as Sayan mentioned above, Gyarados and Charizard are the two most popular choices perhaps?

I'd like to throw Aerodactyl in the mix as well, very fast creature

Yes Mr. Nitpick R. I meant 'thread'. Now back on topic. The only Pokemon I can remember ATM that hasn't been mentioned yet but has slightly draconic features is Tyranitar. Other than that, I dunno, maybe Milotic?
