5th Gen Dream World Pokémon Discussion

Massive Breeding and Trading with my friends. Then I GTS everything extra to try and fill my Pokedex.
 
I have never even caught a pokemon in the Dream World before LOL. If I did though, I would just use them for competitive purposes.

you sVery early on in the game, I got a DW Ponyta. I vastly preferred it to the Fire Starter, so I evolved it and have had a pretty epic Rapidash on my team for a while.

I had a Rapidash and a Zebraika as a pretty cool double act, they just matched so well. White horse with fire, black zebra with electricity. All they need now is an Ice Goat and we're set. Chillygoat? I crack me up.

Meanwhile the poor starter is left in the PC, level 40 and unloved.

I also caught a kickass Farfetch'd so for the first half of the game it was my main Flying type.

When I make teams I like to have a mix of Pokémon. I didn't want a whole team of Unova Pokémon, and I generally leaned towards a team of two from each region this time around.

I keep them in my box and use them to breed.
 
I've never really visited the Dream World, but I've ended up keeping the couple of Pokémon I've found in my PC, and never used them for anything at all.

I breed my DW Pokemon until I get one with great IVs and stuff.

- Do you like the idea of dream world Pokemon?
Yes! I love it. I just wish we could choose where to look for the DW Pokemon we want.

- Which is your favourite ability given to these Pokemon from the dream world?
I have a few. They are Cloud Nine, Moxie, and Sheer Force.

- Do you think they'll end up releasing hidden abilities for everything or keep some completely unobtainable?
They'll probably keep some unobtainable. Gamefreak is mean like that.

When it evolves that becomes Moxie.
 
What I do with my DW Pokemon: Get them whenever I can, and train them. Right now my team has DW Mawile to train. My first DW Pokemon? I forgot. It might be one of the event DW Pokemon, or some regular DW Pokemon. My fav DW Ability? I don't have one. I don't know what to answer to that last question also.
