Which Should I Get ?

Hi everyone :)

I currently own a NDS Lite (Silver) but I will be buying a new DS console soon . I dunno rather to buy a DSi in red or perhaps black or to buy the new Dsi XL . I really want yo upgrade to one but im not sure which ? I love how my DS is small but I want the camera and web browsing so I really want a new DS . Anyone have advice please ?

You do know this is in the wrong place,right.
Anyway,I don't have a dsi but I think you should get whichever you think is the perfect size
 
...pretty sure DSes are either exactly the same price (except in yen, obviously) or else more expensive. Because Japan is Japan and all video game stuff is more expensive. :(

I guess maybe if you found somewhere selling them used, you might get an okay deal but that same thing goes for anywhere... So unless you're searching for a specific Japan-only model, I wouldn't bother.
 
On Amazon Japan the DS Lite MSRP is 16,800 Yen ($188.70 USD), the DSi is 18,900 Yen ($212.28 USD), and the DSi LL is 20,000 Yen ($224.64 USD).

General rule is that Japanese video games are gonna be pretty expensive at retail.
 
Hey guys i have a couple questions about the DSi

ok so i have had the original Nintendo DS for like 5 years now and i was wondering

What are the differences between the DSi and the original DS and is it time for me to upgrade to a DSi XL ?
 
Not unless you can't see. The XL is just your average DSi, but bigger.
There are a couple differences between the DS/lite and the DSi, however. The cameras, the memory card slot, and DSiWare are the big things. The older models have the GBA slot, which is why it's preferred over here, as you can't migrate Pokemon from your advance games without it.

I don't care about the camera or the web browser on it. I play a game console to play games, and since the DSi got rid of half of the reason to play it. (GBA Slot) It became worse. To me, having access to half the games I could have with the DS Lite, makes the DSi a waste of money.

That's why in my opinion, DS/DS Lite > DSi.
