Doesnt mean its true because a bloody ROM site said it ya know ?? Especially one that cant spell Revealed

We'll see on July 15th...the "BoxArt" is probably gonna be faked
 
If I recall correctly they almost never reveal the actual names of the games right away. I mean, Ru/Sa was Pokemon Advanced for the longest time, no?

Edit: And yes, SPP is completely right. There'd be NO box art if they haven't even revealed the game yet, as I'm sure box art is not the first thing completed as they're probably still planning and creating new Pokemon~

Exactly...and they havent even revealed the game yet

WHY WOULD THERE BE A BOX ART WHEN NO SCREENSHOTS OR DETAILS OF THE GAME HAVE BEEN REVEALED

fi this is a special version for rub/sap what makes anyone think that this game will have any new pokemon that other one looks like somethingthe creator of muppets would throw together and yellow and crystal didnt have any new pokemon either. all i can say is dont set your sights to high
 
well according to the latesy info, Emerald will most likely (noT WILL BE!) be an extenstion of the Ruby / Sapphire series..

And yes there is some fake box art floating around out there.. (the one sent to me was in spanish!)

just hang on till July 15th and lets all see what coro coro has to say.

Are we going to be adding a pokemon emerald forum? Sereibii is saying its going to be the next line in the R/S games....
 
Well right now it's not sure if it's going to be a 3rd to r/s or just a remake or a new game all together so there is no reasing in making a section of it yet is there?
 
lol, what ever it is, I think it's going to based on the "dragon of the hoenn skies".
Team aqua, team magma, what's next? Team sky?
 
Heh, I'm sure they can think of a better name than that. Speaking of Rayquaza, I just caught one on my copy of Sapphire... minor offtopic comment, but I had to mention it! Only took me two Ultra Balls :-)

Anyway, back on topic, they've done the same thing with Blue/Red and Gold/Silver, so I'm not surprised at hearing about Emerald being a third game set around Hoenn in the same style as Yellow and Crystal. At least, I assume that's the case. I wonder if they'll do a 3rd one to go with Fire Red and Leaf Green... what would they call it? Water Blue? Pikachu Yellow? (I really hope they don't go with Pikachu Yellow, he gets too much airtime as it is :-p)

Just my coupla coins...
 
Heh, fair enough. You know, I was wondering why I've not seen mention of it in any computer games mags or websites... but then, it would be interesting to see what they'd make of a game revolving around Rayquaza, perhaps they might elaborate on the relationship (if any) to Groudon and Kyroge... just curious
 
Na Emerald was revealed a couple of days ago

A Pic of the Logo was revealed yesterday and proof that its an extention of RS was revealed today

We'll know more on July 15th

You know Serebii, just because the characters are the same or look similar to the Ru/Sa ones and it has Rayquaza doesn't mean that it is a third Ru/Sa game. Could be the same people and they moved to another new continent or something (or maybe back to Johto). Who knows? Only Gamefreak does so you should really stop assuming things like that.

And we aren't going to make a forum yet because there isn't really much to discuss until more info is released (all we know now is the name and that is might star Rayquaza). And we wouldn't know if it should just go with Ru/Sa or FR/LG or get its own new forum.

Yes, that as it may be. But there is also a slight chance of it not going to be one. We just have to wait until anything is said before we go around everywhere saying it is a third Ru/Sa game won't we?
 
For slight chances, it maybe release in japan but not in US.

and everyone expected "Emerald" to be the game after RS because it is "green" and it is also a gemstone... too bad this logic got flawed by FRLG butting into the line.

Plus I won't be that thrilled about 5 games for the same generation... FRLG and RS together made up all the Pokemon already. What's this thing going to do except more ingame stuff and perhaps a few more move tutor? o.o;

If it's such a RS similar game, we'll just jam in an extra E to make it the RSE forum
 
Yeah, methinks Serebii is jumping the gun a bit... might want to move this to Rumours (since it's not actually confirmed yet). And Emerald does make sense in a way, Rayquaza is green after all, and besides, Yellow and Crystal had the same pokemon as their respective counterparts, so Emerald doesn't need to have new ones :-p

Or maybe the mew icon is a fake. Just a thought.
