We had found a secluded place for us to battle. Kimura and I faced each other.
"How many pokemon do you have?" Kimura asked.
I gestured to the two pokeballs. Luckily, I had returned Nightmare before entering the city. "Two."
She winced. "Damn, I only have one."
"One on one then," I said aloud. "Knockout?"
"Alright. Who goes first?"
I contemplated the question for a moment. Hey, why not go with the SHINee World answer to everything? "Rock, paper, scissors. Winner chooses who goes first."
"Once?"
"Of course."
She sent out rock, I sent out paper.
I grinned. "Send your pokemon out!" I exclaimed.
She scowled and grabbed her netball. She let out her Goldeen.
Well, this should be rather easy.
I sent out Doku. Having Dry Skin would help immensely in this battle.
"You may choose the first move," I stated in order to be polite.
Kimura grinned. "You're going to regret that!" I hardly think so. "Goldeen, Water Pulse!" Yup, not going to regret that.
The Goldeen brought a sphere of water to its mouth. As soon as it brought up enough water, the Goldeen shot it off at Doku. Doku didn't even bother to dodge it and instead looked healthier when the Water Pulse hit. Dry Skin is so awesome!
I smirked as Kimura cursed.
"Regret it? More like thank you," I said. "Doku, get close and use Brick Break!"
Doku nodded, jumping up and flipping mid air in order to get more power. His fist glowed white.
"Goldeen, use Horn Attack as he comes closer!" ordered Kimura.
"She!" I corrected as I thought of a new tactic. I smirked. As Doku came closer to the horn, I exclaimed. "Forgo the Brick Break and grab the horn! When you get a good hold, Thunder Punch it to the face!"
Kimura's eyes widened as she cursed. "Dodge it, Goldeen!"
A little too late. Doku grabbed the horn with one hand and used the fall to pack more power into the Thunder Punch. It hit directly on Goldeen's face. Due to the super effective move and the power of the punch, Goldeen fainted.
Kimura cursed once more and returned Goldeen, murmuring words of comfort. I returned Doku and congratulated her. Kimura walked up to me.
"You're good, really good," complimented Kimura. "I'm really amazed."
I shrugged, grinning. Not bad for my first battle ever. "Maybe you just suck."
Kimura pushed me. I pushed back, lighter than I usually would. We both glared at each other and laughed. I got a glance at my watch. 5:30pm. I started to cough. Loud, hacking coughs. Kimura stared at me worriedly and waited 'till I was done.
"Are you okay?" she questioned.
I waved my hand. "I think I might be catching something. I think I"ll skip the executions. Since we've decided to travel together, I'll meet you in the lobby of the pokemon center tomorrow at 10a.m. I think I'm just going to turn in early; really early."
Kimura gazed at me worriedly. "Alright. I'm going to stay out here a bit more. See you tomorrow."
"See ya," I said while leaving. When I was far enough away, I smirked. Now all I had to do was go find a place where I could buy wigs, coloured contacts, and new clothes.

I stepped out of the store as a new person. I wore all blue and currently had blonde hair and green eyes instead of my usual brown.
Seems like I would have to catch the rest of the group up. Hm, what should I call myself?
Emerald would be a fine choice.
