They also said or paired Pokemon, so I'm wondering if Zangoose would show a white pokeball if you haven't caught/seen seviper
 
OHMYGOd i take back my last post, the bird is pretty cute. Yet another early-on flying team that will stay on my team 5ever.

"Pokémon Sun & Moon - Nintendo Treehouse Live

Today is the first day of Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 2016 and starting it off is coverage of Pokémon Sun & Moon following a trailer for Zelda. This is to include the first live gameplay and will feature Junichi Masuda. This post will be updated with every new tidbit as we go and you can watch the stream here as standard.

17:17: Part of the focus on the development of the starters was on their movement when in battle.

17:26: You can now see how a stat has been altered via moves in battle

I really love the detail to the backgrounds in this game. It's come such a long way. ;w;
 
Who's Tapu Koko or whatever? the deity of the island, and the protagonist has been "touched" buy it... I also saw something about praising Meemee?
 
Is Tapu Koko the strange souvenir pokemon ?
 
New Battle type named Battle Royale. + clothes customization confirmed.

Sun and Moon aren't disappointing, omg.
 
Elio named is based on Helios the personification of the Sun. And Selene is the moon obviously.
 
They're dumbing down the series too much. God forbid a newbie has to play the game for a bit before they work out which types are effective to which. This battle royal feature is a cool idea but ending it as soon as one trainer loses their Pokemon seems anticlimactic. The woman fielding the questions was talking as if she was being held at gunpoint and that guy playing the demo absolutely sucked. Lol at getting wiped out in a Pokemon demo.

It was cool to see more of the region and some of the new Pokemon at least.
